Trend To Try: Metallic

Metallic comes and goes in the fashion world but due to my love for all that is glamour my craving will never fade! When selecting trends to try choose those that work best for you. Just because something is walking it's way down the runway and finding itself in celebrities' closets doesn't always mean it works for you.

My belief is simple: invest in classic items that will transcend time, travel and trends. And don't spend very much on the trendy pieces and accessories that will come and go as quickly as a bad haircut!

Accessories are the easiest and often the least expensive way to liven up your look, stay on trend, add a splash of color or insert your personality into a basic wardrobe. Keep your basics timeless and trends...well just as they should be evolving!

MY PICKS:
a simple clutch to take you from day to night with little effort. I love the cross body strap, gives a fresh alternative to a black cross body bag whilst traveling. plus it matches everything in your closet!

totally glam with a boho-retro vibe...directly in my alley! don't be afraid of the multi-color it will just go with more and add a pop of pizazz to an otherwise boring outfit. mix with all of your jewel tones, leopard prints, yellows & anything else you would normally carry with brown.

the hobo is here to stay...this time around it's better in a metallic shade of silver. pair with all of your jeans, give some interest to your blacks & grays, and compliment all of your colors.

LARGE METALLIC LEATHER GALLERY HOBO $129.99 (SALE!)

this bag speaks to me because I love a good frame bag! the detailing of the bag made it a must-have for this fall. the color is soft yet staying on trend...it spoke not screamed. update your neutral bag.

METALLIC LARGE FRAME $163.90

wrap around all of your tunics, pair with dark denim and a white shirt this belt begs to be seen!

VINTAGE METAL PLATE BELT $60.00

this belt begs to make your maxi dresses more flattering, loop in high waisted denim for the perfect throwback to the 70s glamour girl. mix with a white shirt and cropped black jacket for a bit of edge.

SINGLE WRAP SKINNY BELT $29.50

retro glamour girl personified! so love this platform with bell bottom jeans and a black sequin tunic or tone it down with your LBD and matte black tights.

POUR LA VICTOIRE YNEZ OPEN TOE MARY JANE $210.00

rather than grabbing your usual brown boots this fall opt for this super stylish bronze metallic boot instead. skinny jeans tucked perfectly with a brown tunic and tortoise shell jewelry.
NANETTE LEPORE GOLD METALLIC BEWITCHING BOOTS $245.99

this has so many style elements...breathtaking! ruffles, peep toe bootie and it's in the perfect shade of pewter. go. find your LBD. vamp it up!
ELIZABETH AND JAMES LOLA $350.00

if you MUST wear flats. you MUST wear pointed toe flats. rounded ballet should stay in dance class and on girls under 12! lady like appeal with a pointed toe and the comfort of flats...bravo! hem check...don't walk on your denim or trousers.
DKNY ADA $195.00

just because it's fall the sun doesn't go on holiday and you still need a remarkable pair of sunnies. whether to be your personal do not disturb sign, hide last nights partying or just to glam up an outfit...a neutral shade of metallic gold will work magic every time!

every season I DIE for fun on jackets! call it my vice or obsession. the simplest way to make last year look current is by effortlessly tossing on a killer jacket. this. one. must. have.

for all of you craving a bit of edge this season...this jacket is spot on. dressed down with destructed denim and a white tank. shut it down with a little navy dress. D.I.E.
